Art in the Libraries’ Graduate Student Exhibits Award open for submissions through May 15

The submission window for Art in the Libraries’ 2025 Graduate Student Exhibits Award is now open through May 15.

The Art in the Libraries Committee invites WVU graduate students to submit ideas for consideration for an exhibit to visually showcase their academic or creative research in innovative ways. The award includes $500 in professional development funds, assistance with exhibit design and promotion and the option to host a public program.

As a part of Art in the Libraries’ mission, these awards:

  • provide a multidisciplinary platform for deeper learning,
  • foster intellectual discourse and discussion and
  • demonstrate the breadth of WVU's creative and innovative activity.

All WVU graduate students who will be enrolled while the exhibit is on display during the 2025 fall semester are eligible to apply.

Deadline to apply: May 15, 2025.

Winners will be selected by the Art in the Libraries Committee. Selection will be based on applications that best meet the award's goals listed above. Proposals with the most complete vision or clearest plan will be given the strongest preference.
