The Art in the Libraries Committee and Dean of Libraries Karen Diaz selected Sara Haggerty, a senior in painting, and Kamara Townes, a third-year graduate student, to receive the 2023 Dean of Libraries’ Student Arts Award.
Haggerty won for “Where am I?” Her work, oil paint and colored pencil on canvas, will be on display at the Evansdale Library later this semester. Townes won for “Boys.” Her work is house paint, silver leaf, and glitter on a wood panel.
